Weir Partners With Cortec For Repairs

Weir Oil & Gas signed a contract with Cortec USA to provide authorized repairs for Cortec’s product range, which includes chokes, valves, manifolds and API accessories.
The agreement makes Weir an approved service provider for Cortec products within the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Cortec customers can send Cortec products to Weir’s Dubai facility for repairs and recertifications.
Through Weir Edge Services, customers can expect an engineered approach to repairs and support. Weir Edge Services are delivered globally and include oilfield drilling equipment repair and certification; operation and maintenance services in oil and gas and power plant applications; asset management programs; engineered mechanical and rotating equipment repairs and upgrades; spare parts prototyping; and field engineering services from Weir’s Dubai plant.
