China-based access equipment manufacturer Sinoboom has held a groundbreaking ceremony at Silao, Mexico, for its new factory.
The factory will cover a total area of 186,667m square and has been designed for intelligent manufacturing, featuring automated equipment for processes such as welding, painting and assembly, and smart monitoring systems to enable streamlined production.
Green Xu, Sinoboom Director, said that the factory was a “crucial step in our mission to be a globally respected leader in the intelligent equipment manufacturing industry.”
Equipment that will be produced at the facility includes slab and rough-terrain scissor lifts, articulating and telescopic boom lifts, telehandlers, vertical mast lifts and other products from the Sinoboom range. It is estimated that, by 2028, the annual output will reach 20,000 units.
The company says that the factory has been designed to have a low environmental impact, with measures including minimised emissions from processes such as coating, where recyclable VOC-free powders are used.
Green Xu, Sinoboom Director, added that, “Over the past few years, the world has faced unprecedented challenges. The global pandemic, inflation pressures, and market fluctuations have tested us all. Despite these difficulties, Sinoboom has remained resilient. We have continued to grow and develop, never losing sight of our commitment to providing high-quality products and serving customers worldwide.”
