AW-Lake names general manager

Husson is veteran of the flow measurement technology company
Flow instrumentation manufacturer AW-Lake has named Chris Husson general manager. A long-term employee of AW-Lake, his background, experience, and leadership will drive product development and growth into new markets, the company said. AW-Lake currently offers a comprehensive line of flow measurement technology including positive displacement gear meters, Coriolis flow meters, variable area flow meters, turbine meters, and more.
Husson has 35 years of experience with AW-Lake, most recently as director of Operations. He began his career at the company in 1988 as a production technician, moving into roles as electrical engineer, engineering manager and quality manager, before becoming Director of Operations in 2016. He has been instrumental in many product designs and building a strong operations department that supports sales for growth.
In addition to his engineering and product knowledge, Husson brings extensive experience in international markets that will prove essential in collaborating with sister company KEM Kuppers in expanding the portfolio of flow measurement instrumentation to new global markets.
“His understanding of global markets and customer demands will bring important insights when working with sister subsidiary KEM in developing and marketing flow measurement products that address critical industry requirements,” said John Norris, CEO of TASI Measurement.
A native of Denmark, Husson attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
AW-Lake, a TASI Group company, was founded in 1984 as a manufacturer of flow meters and flow monitoring equipment, servicing industrial paint and hydraulics applications. After a strong start in the Automotive sector, AW-Lake diversified into many other industrial markets, including Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Equipment, Power Generation, General Manufacturing, and Industrial Processing.
