Turbo Lab extends TPS call for papers deadline

The Turbomachinery Laboratory at Texas A&M University has extended the deadline for submitting abstracts for the 2021 Turbomachinery & Pump Symposia (TPS), which will occur from December 14-16 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. The new deadline for submissions is Jan. 25.

TPS serves as a networking and training resource for rotating equipment professionals across several industries, including oil and gas production, power, chemical, petrochemical and oil refining among many others.

To contribute to the TPS, the Turbomachinery Laboratory encourages professionals to submit one- to three-page abstracts for lectures, tutorials, case studies and short courses, which will be presented at TPS 2021.

Papers must be aimed at engaging the end-user and be free of commercialism. Submissions should be field-tested and share practical – not theoretical – information, and undergo a review process conducted by the Turbomachinery and Pump Advisory Committees. Accepted papers will be published in the TPS proceedings.

For more information on submitting an abstract, including areas of interest and the review process, visit https://tps.tamu.edu/program/submissions/.
