According to Bill Ward, president and CEO of Superior Midstream, the move marks the culmination of a strategic transition that was initiated in April 2023, when the company’s ownership group – which consists of OPTrust and Partners Group (USA) Inc. – acquired the remaining 50% ownership interest from Unit Corporation. Following the ownership transition, Superior Pipeline was rebranded to Superior Midstream.

The relocation represents the next milestone for Superior Midstream, reinforcing its dedication to growth and innovation within the midstream sector, the announcement stated.

“Becoming part of the downtown community alongside our peer midstream companies underscores our commitment to contributing to the vibrant energy development taking place in Tulsa,” Ward added.

Superior Midstream is a privately held, full-service midstream company with operations in the Texas/Oklahoma panhandle, Central/Western Oklahoma, Southeast Texas, Kansas and Pennsylvania.
