Kistler Group Expands In China

The Kistler Group has opened a new office in Shanghai to strengthen its presence in the Chinese marketplace.

“We see the opening of our new branch in Shanghai as the next logical step in our global corporate strategy,” said Rolf Sonderegger, Kistler’s CEO. “This office is not only the future hub for all Kistler’s Chinese projects: it will also strengthen communication with our customers on the ground in China. It now puts us in a better position to assist them with comprehensive service, sales and technical support.”

The new office is in the Shanghai-Hongqiao Business Park, which is near China’s National Exhibition and Convention Center. The seven-story structure boosts 45,208 sq.ft. (4200 m2) and has about 100 employees. It’s automotive research and test, sensor technology and industrial process control divisions are all represented in the new space, which also houses a tech center to provide calibration, training, technical adaptations and repair services.
