British Airways chooses CTE lifts

The first three units of a batch of four CTE truck mounts have been delivered to British Airways.
The delivery is part of an order that CTE UK received from the airline for the manufacturer’s MP 24 C multipurpose truck mounted platform, on an Iveco chassis.
The lifts will be used at four of the main airports in the UK - Edinburgh, Glasgow, London Gatwick and Manchester - for aircraft maintenance.
The choice of the CTE MP 24 C model is in line with the operational needs related to the maintenance of air fleets, said CTE, those being versatility of the double telescopic boom configuration, fluidity of aerial maneuvers and the intuitiveness of the controls, along with the S3 Evo control system, said the company.
Along with the delivery CTE UK provided British Airways employees familiarization of the equipment.
Jimmy Bunting, from CTE UK, who oversaw the deal, said, “It’s been a pleasure dealing with British Airways, it was evident at their working at height event that the staff in this location are passionate about the work they undertake.
“The MP24c was selected as the perfect fit for the industry’s needs, as it allows them to carry out all the required tasks on their entire fleet.”
