Anadarko Names President, Independent Directors

Managerial moves come shortly after sale to Western Gas Partners

Anadarko Petroleum Corp. made several managerial moves within the company, selecting Bob Gwin as president and naming Alexandra Pruner and Michael K. Grimm to serve as independent directors of the company. The company also filled additional executive roles.

Gwin, formerly the company’s executive vice president, finance and chief finance officer, is responsible for leading Anadarko’s global operations, project management, exploration, midstream and marketing. He is also expected to expand the company’s technology development.

Benjamin M. Fink succeeds Gwin in his former role, overseeing the financial responsivities of the business. Fink formerly served as senior vice president, and president and CEO of the general partners of Western Gas Partners, LP and Western Gas Equity Partners, LP.

Robin H. Fielder, formerly vice president, investor relations, has been promoted to senior vice president, Midstream, and succeeds Fink as president and CEO of the partnerships. Michael C. Pearl, formerly vice president, finance and treasurer, has also been promoted, succeeding Fielder as senior vice president, finance and investor relations.

Alexandra Pruner formerly served as partner and CFO of Perella Weinberg Partners, a global independent advisory firm providing strategic and financial advice and asset-management services. Prior to that, she served as CFO and a member of the management committee at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. since the firm’s founding in 2007.

Grimm currently serves as president of Rising Star Petroleum, LLC. He is the immediate past chairman of the board for RSP Permian, Inc. Prior to that, Grimm was a co-founder of RSP Permian in 2010, and served as a co-chief executive officer until 2014.
