Beginning in Nov. 2017, the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology (CPI) is offering a new, two-year degree designed to train students to become gas compression technicians. Students will graduate with a Natural Gas Compression: Associate of Specialized Technology degree with an emphasis on Cat and Ariel equipment. Cleveland Brothers, Ariel and other gas industry partners will review student performance after they complete their first term. If pre-hired by the program’s industry partners, students will receive $7,500 per year ($15,000 total) in company-sponsored tuition reimbursement.
